An Art Show With Purpose In Whistler B.C.
‘REPURPOSE’ -An art show made from pre-loved material, is hoping to influence and encourage a sustainable world and assist our community whilst making some cool shit. I had fun with this one.
‘Repurpose’ has been curated by my friend Greg Cutten of the Re-Build It Centre in Function Junction, Whistler B.C. An artist himself with a passion for sustainable art, he has put together a collection of artists who have repurposed everyday materials into some very offbeat, ingenious and lovely artworks. I have posted just a few images of what is on the gallery walls, some very cool execution of material and subject matter. I am a proud participant as I have woven this concept through my life and art practice. The show is a silent auction format at the gallery, anyone can bid on the artwork with 50% of proceeds will be going to support the Whistler Community Services Society Check out the article written about the show here in the Pique News Magazine
